Our story

Our journey at Welverdiend began in 2021, when we fell in love with this peaceful property and decided to make it our home. What started as a place for our own family has grown into a welcoming accommodation where guests can enjoy the same sense of peace, space and connection with nature that first attracted us to Welverdiend. As our vision for the property grew, we expanded in 2025, creating more space while preserving the natural surroundings that make Welverdiend so special. We soon realised that this was a setting we wanted to share with others, and one of the existing homes was transformed into comfortable guest accommodation. The response from our guests was wonderful, and later in 2025 we expanded once again with a second private home. Today, Welverdiend Accommodation offers two fully equipped self-catering homes, giving guests a choice of comfortable accommodation in a peaceful natural setting. One of the things that makes Welverdiend unique is the combination of tranquillity and convenience. Guests can enjoy the quiet surroundings, spot local wildlife and relax in the garden, while still being just 2 km from the nearest shops and within easy reach of Bloemfontein's schools, sports facilities, businesses and city amenities. Our two private self-catering homes are particularly well suited to guests who value a quiet environment, practical amenities and the convenience of being close to the city. For guests travelling with their dogs, Welverdiend is also pet-friendly by arrangement, so your four-legged companions can be part of the journey too.
