Welverdiend Wildlife

One of the things that makes Welverdiend special is the wildlife you may encounter during your stay. Animals and birds roam freely around the property, often coming surprisingly close to the accommodation and garden.

You might spot Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) quietly grazing nearby, Common Ostrich (Struthio camelus) wandering through the property, or Domestic Ducks (Anas platyrhynchos domesticus) and Domestic Chickens (Gallus gallus domesticus) going about their day. Every stay can be a little different, and there is something special about sitting outside with your morning coffee or relaxing around the braai while wildlife moves naturally through the surroundings.

It is a peaceful reminder that although Welverdiend is close to the city, you are staying somewhere with a genuine connection to nature.

The wildlife is part of the setting, not a staged attraction. Guests are simply invited to enjoy watching it as it goes about its day.
